OAKMONT, PA (January 29, 2020) – Chelsea Building Products is pleased to announce the addition of Daniel Franklin as Product Manager, Specialty Products.
Franklin joins Chelsea with a wealth of knowledge in building products, having held positions in product management, project management, and manufacturing engineering. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toledo Community and Technical College.
Franklin has held the aforementioned positions with Deceuninck North America, The Tapco Group, and Boral Building Products.
“Daniel will play a key role on the Everlast® siding and specialty products teams,” says Gary Hartman, VP of Sales and Marketing for Chelsea Building Products. “He’s already made an impact within our organization with his comprehensive building products knowledge and industry insight.”
Having been in the building products industry for the last 14 years, Franklin worked with staff to develop and launch the Clubhouse® cellular decking line and Grayne® composite siding. He contributed to sustained product line growth exceeding market expectations for both brands. Over his career, Franklin has been involved in product design testing, testing product installation, marketing, and product launch.
